However, due to the high cost of SAP, only a few high-end brands currently use third-generation core layers.

4. Back sheet :Leak proof and breathability are the standards for measuring the quality of back sheet. Currently, diapers mainly use PE breathable film or composite breathable film.

The core of diapers: absorption core layer.

The material of the core layer is generally stated on the outer packaging of diapers, among which fluff pulp, pulp, washed cotton, cotton pulp, etc. can be understood as fluff pulp, which is a commonly material for producing absorbent core layers of diapers. Most brands on the market use second-generation core layers made of mixed fluff pulp and SAP, which are relatively inexpensive. The main characteristics of this type of core layer are: softness, low cost, fluffiness, relatively thick, average water absorption, and easy formation of lumps and faults after water absorption.

SAP is a type of polymer material with special functions, which can absorb water with a mass several hundred to several thousand times that of itself, or salt water with a mass several tens to several hundred times that of itself. Under appropriate pressure, the inhaled water will not be squeezed out. The main characteristics of this type of core layer are: high cost, light and thin, good absorption effect, large water absorption, less prone to reverse osmosis, no lumping or faulting.
