Non-woven fabric

Non-woven fabrics: Sheets, webs, or mats that made of oriented or randomly arranged fibers combined with each other by rubbing, holding, or bonding, or a combination of these methods. Excludes paper, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, tufted fabrics, stitched fabrics with stitched yarns, and wet reduced felt products. The fibers used can be natural or chemical fibers. They can be short fibers, filaments, or fibers formed on the spot.

At present, the chemical fibers commonly used in the production of non-woven fabrics are mainly polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), also have nylon (PA), viscose fiber, acrylic fiber, ethylene fiber (HDPE), chlorinated fiber (PVC) and so on.

The commonly used netting processes mainly include dry netting, air netting, carding into netting, wet netting, melt-jet netting, spinning into netting and so on.

Commonly used fiber consolidation processes include entanglement, thermal bonding, chemical bonding, needling, spunlace, hot rolling bonding, dot/print bonding, hot drying bonding and so on.
