Partners Group announced acquisition of Velvet Care

Partners Group, a leading global private equity firm, has agreed to acquire Velvet Care, a manufacturer of household paper from Central Europe, from Abris Capital Partners and plans to create value through expansion in Central Europe and other regions. Velvet Care is one of the largest and fastest-growing producers of household paper (including wet toilet paper) in Central Europe, with over 850 employees in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Velvet Care has significantly expanded its production scale by investing in production technology, infrastructure, and automation technology, becoming a sustainable growth industry leader.

In 2023, Velvet Care obtained the B Corp Certification, which is globally recognized as the highest standard for corporate social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The certified company promises to prioritize the implementation of the above matters in its business model, while also striving for profit, humanity, and the planet. Earlier in 2023, Velvet Care received a gold award from EcoVadis, a leading global environmental impact assessment service provider.

Velvet Care's products include toilet paper, wiping paper, tissue paper, and wet toilet paper. In the past 26 years, the brand has been widely popular in Poland, and the company has also produced products for retail brands. Velvet Care has two factories in Klucze, Poland and Zabicce, Czech Republic, and its products are sold to more than 30 countries and regions, mainly in Europe.
