One of diaper’s main part---top sheet

Diapers contain many parts, one of it is top sheet which has a close contact with the baby’s or adult’s skin. The top sheet is soft and it allows the liquid flow to the ADL layer and pass through quickly into the absorbent core. The common raw material of top sheet is Polypropylene. And Polypropylene is made from plastic resins.

The top sheet of diaper is hot-air non-woven sheet or spunlace non-woven sheet after Polypropylene goes through the mechanically, chemically, or thermally bonded.

Sinbao’s top sheet can be divided into two sheets: hydrophilic non-woven sheet and hydrophobic non-woven sheet. The part of hydrophilic sheet is SSS(spunlace-spunlace-spunlace)layer normally, because it has close connection with baby’s and adult’s skin so it’s soft and the function of it is to transfer the liquid to the absorbent core. The part of hydrophobic sheet is the leakage part of the crotch and the leg cuffs.

Due to the material of the top sheet, it can protect the skin from over hydration and reduce irritation.
