Fuller China Guangzhou expansion project completed

In May 2023, Fuller celebrated the official opening of its new technology center in Yonghe Economic Development Zone in Guangzhou, China, and expanded production and storage capacity. Celeste Mastin, President and Chief Executive Officer, visited the site with members of Fuller's Executive Committee.

During the visit, Celeste reaffirmed the strategic importance of China in Fuller's global presence and reinforced the company's commitment to better serve Fuller's customers in the growing Asia Pacific region with innovative, sustainable and high-performance adhesives.

Fuller began construction of this expansion in March 2021, during the pandemic, and completed the project in the fourth quarter of 2022. With a 10,000-square-meter land expansion, Fuller now has a 2,800-square-meter technical center, new adhesive production lines, and a double-decker warehouse with increased capacity.

The new Technology Center provides Fuller with a wide range of adhesive technologies in the Asia Pacific region, including product development, analysis and application testing. The new equipment will expand the capacity of acrylic polymerization, hot melt adhesive and water adhesive formulations to serve a broader market and help diversify Fuller's adhesives portfolio in the Asia Pacific region.

With a strong focus on innovation and enhanced research and development capabilities, Fuller will accelerate business growth in core industries such as hygienic materials, packaging, medical, automotive, woodworking, industrial assembly and consumer electronics.
