China and the United States resume high-level communication between the two militaries on the basis of equality and respect

The San Francisco meeting between the heads of state of China and the United States agreed to promote and strengthen dialogue and cooperation in various fields between China and the United States, including:

Establishing an intergovernmental dialogue on artificial intelligence.

Establish a working group on drug control cooperation between China and the United States to carry out drug control cooperation.

On the basis of equality and respect, resume high-level communication between the two militaries, work meetings between the Chinese and US Ministry of Defense, and meetings on the China US Maritime Military Security Consultation Mechanism.

Conduct communication between leaders of the Chinese and US military theaters. 

Agree to further increase flights significantly earlier next year. 

Expand exchanges in education, international students, youth, culture, sports, the business community and so on.
