Andritz strengthens its nonwovens business with acquisition of Dan-Web

The Andritz Group has signed an agreement with Dan-Web Machinery, headquartered in Galten, Denmark, to acquire 100% of its shares. Dan-Web is a leading supplier with a wide range of air mesh nonwovens production technologies. The acquisition will further expand and strengthen Andritz's portfolio of products and services in the field of nonwovens.

Dan-Web is able to design and supply equipment tailored to customers for the production of nonwovens for use in baby diapers, feminine care, incontinence products, wet wipes, etc.

With this acquisition, Andritz Nonwovens will strengthen the technical capabilities of air mesh and enhance its product portfolio in all aspects. For many years Andritz has been working closely with Dan-Web to provide the air mesh systems needed for the entire production line.

Dan-Web is a leading supplier of hammer crushers and mesh technologies for pulp applications, which perfectly matches the expertise of the Andritz Group in pulping technology.
